In today’s interview segment Mike Williams, president & CEO of Community Hospital Corporation, talks about the strong work ethic instilled by his parents and what he thinks would make them proud.
“I think they would be proud, not of the success of their children, but of the fact that their children worked very hard to get educated to make a contribution and be able to give something back.”
Williams also reflects on his early motivation for success, and offers this advice to young leaders:
“From the very beginning of your career, think about what it is that you can do for others. How can you make a contribution to the industry, to your colleagues, to those that you’re serving? If in fact you do that, not only will you be affirmed and satisfied, but the opportunities for success will come.”
