Al Cornish on Leadership at Norton Healthcare

In today’s featured segment, Al Cornish, Chief Learning Officer at Norton Healthcare, discusses the “Norton Way” of leadership.

Dan Nielsen begins this segment by asking, “What does the ‘Norton Way’ mean?”

Cornish begins by discussing the importance of set standards in leadership, stating:

“It is so important that we have standards and expectations of our leaders so that they are able to lead the way that we want them to lead. Because we are a market leader in this community and want to remain a market leader, and in order to do that we need our leaders to behave in a certain manner.”

Nielsen and Cornish then discuss the importance of consistency in leadership and emphasize the need to stay above reproach.
