This week we are pleased to begin featuring segments from an AHL-exclusive interview with Bruce Brandes, Founder & CEO of Lucro. Lucro is a new online marketplace designed to reinvent how buyers and sellers of innovative healthcare solutions connect.
In the first featured segment, Brandes discusses his 25 years in healthcare working in information technology. Within his first few years in healthcare, Brandes realized there was a great opportunity to leverage technology to improve the entire industry.
He desired to change a marketplace that was continually over-sold and under-delivered and create a way for the buyer and seller to connect so that innovation could be celebrated and leveraged.
In the second segment, Brandes describes how Lucro got started and explains how, as a digital platform, they aim to address 4 needs that health systems have:
- A better way to discover what’s out there and concisely understand what they do.
- A Better way to organize their thinking.
- A better way to collaborate with their peers.
- A better way to evaluate what they already have.
“So those are really the four primary functions that we deliver within the platform,” Brandes explains.
