Steve Lawler on His Mentors and What He Learned

In today’s video segment Dan Nielsen, Founder & CEO of America’s Healthcare Leaders, asks Steve Lawler, President, North Carolina Healthcare Association, to talk about his mentors and what he learned from them and that experience.

Lawler spoke of two of his mentors. Throughout this brief video Lawler uses words such as encouragement, candid, development, compassionate, respectful, critical conversations and more. All of these words describe some of the things a mentor does or shares with a mentee.

Lawler ends the video segment by saying, “Think about the best boss you have ever had, and strive to be like that person.”
