In today’s interview segment, Traci Bernard, president of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southlake talks about three main areas and strategies her team is focused on currently.
Those areas of focus include:
- Dealing with the changes in International Classification of Diseases (ICD)
- Accommodating community needs within their space limitations
- Figuring out the best way to transition to a more wellness-based approach to healthcare
While each of these areas come with many challenges, Traci remains optimistic and excited about the future:
“It’s just a fun time, I think, to be in healthcare. Looking at the challenges and being a part of that, and helping to create a future that looks different than what we’ve known in the past.”
