Traci Bernard on Her Team at Texas Health Southlake

Traci Bernard, president of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Southlake, Texas, is a truly exceptional leader who values her team. “Family” is a word that is often used to describe the connection she feels with the people with whom she works day in and day out. Her genuine care and respect for her team is obvious and has established a remarkable culture of compassion and respect.

“We all get along, we all care about each other. There is mutual respect. Everybody treats each other as an equal part of the team, creating that success.”

“I am a firm believer that none of us are a success alone. It definitely takes a strong team. I wish everybody could meet the other leaders of my organization, which are the employees and the people who make it happen every day, because they make us look good.”
