Marc Reynolds, SVP of Payer Relations at Scripps Health, takes the opportunity to describe the unique leadership of Scripps Health. Marc talks about a few individuals who set the “leadership bar” high.
In this segment, Marc gets the chance to discuss his fellow co-worker and boss, Richard Rothberger, CEVP and CFO Scripps Health.
“He’s a guy who I think challenges everybody he works with. His heart is always in the right place. It’s not because he wants to find some fault with you or make you look like you don’t know what you’re doing.”
Marc describes Richard as having a “sweet heart” while possessing the “mind of a tiger.” This combination of heart and mind produces exceptional leadership.
