- Get a feel for the space ahead of time. Make sure you check all equipment that will be used and that you are comfortable in the space. Would you feel more comfortable with or without a podium? Would you prefer the lights to be dimmed or lit so you can see the audience?
- Interact with the audience. Williams states, “When I speak, I facilitate dialogue and thinking more than just presenting information.”
