Carlos Arce on Healthcare: Privilege and Purpose

Today we continue the interview with featured leader Carlos Arce, former CLO at Billings Clinic, who now serves as Company Leader, Customer Experience at Elation, Inc. In today’s segment, Arce focuses on the privilege and purpose he felt while working within healthcare at Billings Clinic.

AHL founder and CEO, Dan Nielsen, begins by asking, “What’s the greatest experience you’ve had throughout your entire career?”

Without hesitation Arce responds that the 13 years he has spent in healthcare have been some of the greatest years in his career. He noted that he initially experienced the feeling of entering into a “new galaxy” when he first started working in healthcare, but he loved it—it is an industry with so many things to learn and contribute to.

Arce goes on to describe a moment in healthcare where he realized just how important it is. He jokes, “I was the water boy in healthcare.” And he enjoyed every minute of it.
