Chief Learning Officer: A Unique Position

This week we return to our interview with Al Cornish, Chief Learning Officer at Norton Healthcare in Louisville, KY. In today’s featured segments Cornish expands on the position of Chief Learning Officer and what it’s like.

In the first segment, Cornish establishes the unique differences between Chief Learning Officer and Chief Human Resource Officer. Cornish remarks:

“The primary difference is my focus is strictly on the learning within the organization, and on organization development. I make sure we have established learning systems in place to address the needs of the organization both now and in the future.”
