Diane S. Hopkins: Her Professional Legacy

In today’s video, Dan Nielsen, Founder and CEO of America’s Healthcare Leaders, asks Diane Hopkins, Certified Experience Economy Expert and Author of Unleashing the Chief Moment Officers, what she hopes her professional legacy will be.

Hopkins responds by saying children come to mind, and she shares about a project she worked on that has literally touched 10,000 – 35,000 individuals annually since 2001 – 2002.

The project was called the “Innovation Wow Project,” which is still alive and active today through the Health Works Kids Museum.  This project helped her team to think differently about going upstream—looking at prevention in a different way.  In addition, this museum has been replicated throughout America, touching even more children.

As one 10-year-old who went through the museum said when asked how she liked the museum, “I felt so important.” And that, for Hopkins, is what it’s all about—helping children to understand that their influence matters.

Thank you Diane Hopkins and Phil Newbold and the many others who contributed to this project to see it through to reality. YOU have made a difference!
